What role do the governors have? What does our SEN governor do?

Our SEN governor makes termly visits to meet with members of the SEND team in addition to our SEND student voice, including students who are looked after (LAC).  Her role is to monitor our procedures and practices in relation to SEND and LAC in addition to reviewing the progress of all students identified as having additional needs.  She provides support and guidance to Academy staff including our Senco.
