Four students in KS3 have developed such a love of reading that they have crossed the one million word mark during Accelerated Reader sessions. Since September, Year 7 students Thomas Biles, Izzah Asfahani, Alana Spedding and Year 8 student Teniola Idowu, have read tens of books and show no signs of stopping – in fact one student has read over three million words. Tom Biles said that reading, ‘allows you to get lost into a creative world,’ which is one of the many reasons he enjoys reading.

To celebrate this amazing achievement they will each receive a certificate and a book token to allow them to continue their thirst for fiction.
