Ex Millbrook Academy student Ross Langworthy has been chosen to carry the Olympic flame in his home town.

Come along and cheer him on!!

A once on a lifetime opportunity to see the iconic Olympic flame pass through Brockworth en route from Stroud to Cheltenham will take place on Wednesday 23rd May at around 5.20pm.

It will pass through central Gloucester on the morning of Thursday 24th May. Please be aware that Millbrook Academy will remain open and students will be required to attend as normal. We have been informed by Bennetts that the school bus will run as normal. However, Stagecoach route 10 (Tuffley/Gloucester/Brockworth) has been slightly amended on Thursday 24th May. Please click here for further information.

There will be no after school extra curricular activities on Wednesday 23rd May as the Millbrook Academy site will be closed at 3:15pm.
