“We have received much praise as a school about our employer engagement – of course it is a 2 way process and we are extremely grateful to all those businesses who help to enrich the curriculum for our students and provide them with real life situations that help to improve their employability skills.” Stuart Langworthy

Each year we like to pick out one business for specific praise – this year IT Schools for Africa really took so much time and effort into providing a diverse work experience programme which offered challenge and variety that we think they are worth winners of our ‘Employer of the Year’ Award.

At an event to present this award, Charlotte Gallagher Y11 was presented with the Ageas Work Experience award, for her superb log-book and excellent self-evaluation as well as a fantastic evaluation from her employer, 10Yetis PR. “I am really pleased to win this award. The business really went out of their way to give me a varied and fantastic week  - I would particularly like to thank Shannon who really looked after me whilst I was there.”

Brandon Rich was also presented with the Y9 Learn at Work Day award, again for his superb evaluation of his experience and log-book.  He spent a day at Summer House Riding Education School
