Millbrook Ex-Student Makes London Theatre Debut

posted 21 Oct 2014, 03:31 by Kate Hunt
Ex-Student Tim Phelps has made his professional debut as an actor starring as Rapunzel’s Prince in the musical “Into The Woods” at London Theatre Ye Olde Rose and Crown. Since leaving Millbrook, Tim has trained in at the London School of Musical Theatre, and we are very proud of his success.

The production, which takes a variety of familiar fairy tale characters and mixes them all up in a darkly comic story, has received rave reviews, including a 4 star review in The Stage.

Tim’s performance, according to reviews, is “hilarious” and “wonderful”. I went to see the show on Saturday evening, and absolutely loved it. It’s one of my favourite musicals anyway, but this production is new and innovative, and was both funny and touching. Tim’s performance was fabulous. He will be starring in “Into The Woods” until the end of October, after which he goes on to play Young Scrooge and Fred in “A Christmas Carol” in Tunbridge Wells over the Christmas period.

We are all very proud of him and wish him well as his career goes from strength to strength.
