As one of the UK’s biggest fundraising events, Sport Relief brings the nation together to get active, raise cash and change lives. All the money raised helps people living incredibly tough lives, both at home in the UK and across the world's poorest countries. Well done to everyone at Millbrook Academy who raised funds for this very worthy charity.

As the nation celebrates the biggest ever year of sport, students and staff at Millbrook Academy joined in the fun with Sport Relief 2012 from Monday 19 to Friday 23

The School organised many fund raising events for the Sport Relief week, from staff versus student netball matches to dance and skipping competitions to encouraging all staff and students to participate in the ‘Sport Relief Mile’ which took place during lunchtime of Friday 23 March. Miss Ogun would like to thank all the superstars who took part in the various activities. The scores in netball were….. staff beat the year 13 students 8-4 and the year 12s 9-0!! Staff rule!

Well done to all the staff and students who ran and walked the mile on Friday. It was great to see so many students and staff taking part.
