Here we are at the end of an exhausting term which has involved lots of rain, lots of wind and lots of mud! Apologies to all parents who have muddy clothes and shoes to wash but at least we are not flooded. Students hate wet break and lunch times when they are trapped inside school buildings so let’s hope that after half term we are all able to get outside more.

The finish of term has been an inspiring and amazing experience as we hold our Academy production, Les Miserables in The Mill. All of the cast, supporting crew, orchestra and lighting team have produced an absolutely fantastic show.

This is the result of hours of rehearsal for both staff and students and it really does seem practice makes perfect! Every year, as Principal, I attend the show and think we can’t possibly improve and every year the staff and students prove me wrong and I come away in awe of their talent. We are hugely proud of all taking part.

Have a happy half term break and we look forward to seeing you on Monday 24 February when the mornings will be much lighter.
