This has been a very short but busy term and the GCSEs are well under way. Year 11 students are working hard and enjoying the pre exam breakfast kindly provided by Mrs Wright, Mrs Hunt and Mrs Stokes. The atmosphere at breakfast is very conducive and hungry Year 11s have eaten their way through several loaves of bread, 100s of English breakfast muffins with bacon and gallons of hot chocolate and fruit juice. Taking exams on an empty stomach is not a good thing so we hope this has gone some way to help our students perform to the best of their ability.

This week it was a pleasure to meet Richard Graham, MP for Gloucester, as he toured Millbrook academy for the first time. He was very impressed with Adam, Jess and Karl who gave him the tour. Karl recently wrote a very moving piece in the Citizen about Auschwitz after visiting there on a trip.

Enjoy the half term break. The Academy restarts on 2 June and we look forward to seeing the students then.
